I’m going to test putting a level in ninja spy so shortswords always count as centered weapons and see if that fixes it in the interim, but wanted to know if anyone else was having this issue. With the change that you have to summon a new set of shadowblades each time you enter/exit a quest it means I lose 20% of my HP immediately and it happens too often for my comfort. Oddly enough though, at no point does my monk stance toggle off (I remain in adept of ocean the whole time).

I’d guess the issue is that sacred defender is checking that I am centered, and the initial summoned shadowblades aren’t counted as ki weapons when sacred defender checks the first time, then the blades get the ki attribute, then sacred defender recognizes that I should get the extra 20% HP. I gain it back immediately, but the result is I go from 360/360 to 300/300 to 300/360, and I have to use a healing potion/spell to return to 360/360 HP. I regain proficiency as soon as I summon a new blade in my main hand, but I have the “you are not proficient” error until I do.Īdditionally, (and this is possibly the most annoying) when I summon my shadowblades I lose my 20% bonus HP from sacred defender initially. I’m running a human 7 sacred fist/2 monk/1 artificer at the moment, and when I use a rest shrine while dual wielding shadow blades, I lose proficiency with the offhand blade when I swap my main hand to a wand (for shield). I’ve noticed since the update yesterday that shadow blades are acting weird now. Users with low post/comment history may get their post flagged for review before they can post.
